A Saboteur

Sabotage is a deliberate action
aimed at weakening another entity through subversion, obstruction, disruption, or destruction.

Deliberate.

As in hands off,
watch another fall,
add fuel to the fire
and delight to watch
someone's dreams burn.

Aimed.

It is targeted and strategizing.
It knows its desired end
and skilled in the ways
to get there.

Weakening.

To top it off,
as if the intentionality
to destroy another isn't enough,
it weakens another
through use of distance,
discouragement,
the opposite of strength
or building relationship.
Adding words to tear down
and weakening its victims -
watching delightfully
as they drown.

Subversion.

Influencing a change
for the worse.
Spreading poisonous thoughts
and lies to shift more minds
toward your desired aim.
Undermining morals
allegiance and faith
from the very foundation.
Believing your own lies
and turning them into action.

Obstruction.

You purposefully place
everything you do or don't do
to block another
from moving forward.

Disruption.

You thought you were subtle
and you rallied those around
but those not in your circle
totally see the truth
even if you succeeded
in causing them to lose ground.
The flow was stopped.

Destruction.

Total loss is your aim.
You master saboteur!
Your aim is to imitate
your father the devil.
He comes to kill, steal
and destroy.
You have followed
his footsteps well.

Parallel Thoughts

Do we simply have to agree?
You have shared and stated one thing.
But I'd like to think along other lines,
please indulge me, I pray.

I like the way you think.
I listen and my mind partakes.
I can add something of the divine.
Let's consider together
your point and mine.

Let's not debate.
It isn't the point we'd like to take.
Let's look at the view together.

I will describe what I see
and how about you describe it too.

I may look at the feel or warmth
and describe a palate of color or hue.
You may find what stands out

are names of what you see
and the number of them too.

Two directions, yours and mine.
Same destination only differing time.
The process is good for both of us you see.
How about we linger
just to be?

Exploration can be a safe place
where both of us can share
in parallel thoughts
what we each find
on this journey together,
of yours and mine.

One plus one equals two.
Two plus two is four.
Four plus four is eight.
And now, we have so much more.

Your eight and mine equals sixteen.
Do you get the picture?
Alone you can only do so much

but together we can have more.
A full spectrum
and the view becomes bigger,
brighter, warmer.
